Larvik means nature

Larvik municipality is huge, over 1.000 km2 big. And although is has some culture, not much, coming to Larvik means you like nature.

One very nice place to visit in Larvik, about 35 km from Farris Permaculture farm, is Eftang. Here some pictures of Eftang from June 14, 2020. During this time of the year the sun shines from 05.00 (depending on your location from 04.00) until 23.00 and it is light all night.

When you come to help me on the farm, we can visit Eftang during one of your days off.

The rocks at Eftang were made under the ice cap 35.000 years ago (could be longer ago). Still every year the rocky mountains here move upwards 8 mm a year.

Eftang is part of Geo Norwegica Geopark (on the Unesco list).
